My friend Steph and I have been trying to find time to meet up, but schedules seem to always get in our way. One day, I was invited by What Mary Loves to the opening of the latest branch of Banh Nam at Podium Mall, so I asked Steph to come with me since I wasn't so sure if I'd be able to finish those veggie loaded Banh Mi's all by myself!
I got two Banh Mi's, The Roast Pork and Grilled Chicken, and considering that a great deal of the sandwich is vegetables, I was pretty surprised that I actually enjoyed it.
Steph loved it so much, she forgot to put the hot sauce on her sandwich BOTH TIMES. 😂 Once she tore into it with reckless abandon, she forgot about everything else.
Funnily enough, Before writing this blog, I ended up thinking I lost my photos, so I trooped back to Banh Nam at Podium with Rina and Rain in tow, to give them a little taste of what a Banh Mi should taste like.
And then of course, a few days after finishing the VLOG, I find the pictures. Nice.
