Being a father means having to be more aware of the food that my daughter Rain eats. Though she’s nowhere near as picky as her father, she does have certain favorites that she likes to stick to. One of those favorites just happens to be Swift Mighty Meat Cheese Franks!
So it’s wonderful that we have those good old faithful hotdogs to use as her baon for school, but making it more interesting for her to eat is the bigger challenge!
Here are some easy Baon Tips using Swift Mighty Meaty Cheese Franks for kids Baons that you can make at home!
It’s easy to see why she loves these Cheesey Franks so much! The meatiness is undeniable and they’re incredibly flavorful even on its own.
But its how the hotdogs are packed with cheesy goodness that Rain absolutely can’t get enough of!
BAON TIP #1: MIGHTY MEATY CHEESY SLIDERS
Take a Mighty Meaty Cheesy Frank and place it in between Freshly Toasted Pan De Sals or mini buns, drizzle a little bit of Mayonnaise, Ketchup, and Cheese Sauce for extra awesomeness and viola! You’ve got yourself a delicious treat!
Because of traffic, Rain’s bus brings her to school around an hour before her school starts, so we make sure to pack at least two sliders for her in case she wants something for breakfast! Light enough so she doesn’t feel to heavy after eating it, but filling enough to give her enough energy until recess!
BAON TIP #2: CHICKEN FRANKS PASTA
Rain loves noodles, so we decided to jazz up some of her favorite Spaghetti with Mighty Meaty Cheese Franks!
We simply take the classic Spaghetti with tomato sauce that Rain can’t get enough of, and top it with delicious slices of Chicken Cheese Franks.
The combination of the Chicken Franks and Spaghetti makes for a great in-between meal that Rain can enjoy during her recess, that is incredibly easy to prepare!
BAON TIP #3: MIGHTY MEATY CHEESY SLIDERS
For her lunch, Rina decided to get a little creative. She takes one of the Franks and slices it in half, and then continues to slice it right down the middle reminiscent of a pizza, making sure not to slice the hotdog all the way.
Rina then fries the hotdogs, making sure to cook them upright so they stand so it looks like.... You guessed it.. A little octopus!
Rina made sure to egg some scrambled egg over a bed of rice for added design (Not to mention Rain loves Eggs!), and tops it with the sliced franks, making it look like a family of octopuses swimming in the sea!
Rain was totally surprised to see what her mom prepared for her.. And as you can tell.. She loved it! Funnily enough, at first she said it was, “Too Cute To Eat!”, but once she took one bite of the Chicken Cheese Frank, she devoured it immediately!
With it’s meaty flavor profile and cheesy goodness, Swift’s Mighty Meaty Chicken Cheese Frank is a kid’s favorite that is incredibly diverse and can be used in so many creative ways, especially for your child’s baon! You’re bound to find a way to prepare it that will please even the Pickiest of Eaters!
