KITSHO JAPANESE RESTAURANT & SAKE BAR AT HOTEL JEN MANILA

         Located at the Ground floor of Hotel Jen Manila is Kitsho, one of the finest Japanese restaurants in the country. During our staycation, we had the pleasure of trying out their Weekend Ala Carte Buffet! 

         With Chef Masahiro Mizumoto at the helm of the kitchen, Kitsho is famous for his mouth-watering, authentic Japanese dishes.

        There are a four rooms that can be blocked off and used for intimate events. 

     There is also a Teppanyaki table, where you can watch the Chefs slicing and dicing the different cuts of premium meats and seafood.

ALA CARTE BUFFET

        Kitsho has an "Ala Carte Buffet" set up, where you are given a list of items on their menu to choose from, and you may order to your hearts desire. There is, however, a spread of Sashimi and Sushi laid out for you, so fanatics can help themselves to the freshly sliced fish.

     I started my meal with a few pieces of plump Gyozas..

 and one of the most flavorful plates of Yakisoba i've ever had.

     Sukiyaki is one of my favorite Japanese Dishes, and I was happy to discover that Kitsho's version is excellent. And the unique thing about it, is that it's prepared table side!

       Especially with Rain around, it is a mortal sin to have a Japanese dinner without her favorite "Crispy Shrimp", aka Ebi Tempura. The prawns were plump and were deep fried to a beautiful crisp, and my little girl could have easily annihilated the entire plate by herself.  

       Of course, I couldn't resist some of my favorites from the Japanese Cuisine, such as Pork Tonkatsu, which had a delightful crunchiness to go with the juiciness of the pork..

 And the Chicken Teriyaki, which had the right balance of sweet and soy to compliment the perfectly cooked chicken fillet. 

       For dessert, we were given the palate cleansing trio of Ice Creams, namely Green Tea, Wasabi, and Black Sesame. 

      With the quality of food you get at a reasonable rate, Kitsho's Ala Carte Buffet Menu is one of the best value for money luxury buffets available in the Metro!

 Kitsho's Ala Carte Buffet is priced at only P1,352++ for lunch and P1,536++ for dinner!
