I've made no secret that I feel Spectrum at Fairmont Hotel has one of the best buffets I've ever had.. Not just in the Philippines, but anywhere in the world. Granted, they may not have a selection as extensive as other hotel buffets, but they do a great job in making sure that every entree served is nothing short of phenomenal.
Not only is care meticulously given to every dish that leaves Spectrum's kitchen, but the creative minds at Fairmont tirelessly think of ways to make sure their guests are always wowed with their creative themes!
After enjoying the Lego Themed "Awesome Sunday Brunch" earlier this year, we returned to Spectrum to check out their newest promotion.. The Sweet Sunday Brunch: A Candy Wonderland!
Spectrum's Sweet Sunday Brunch is in partnership with some of the finest names of chocolates and sweets from around the world, starting with Rain's favorite, Haribo!
The presence of the Haribo Bears around Spectrum got Rain, a certified Gummy Bear addicted, all excited!
Rina was enamored with the Salad Station, which she felt was easily among the most beautiful she had ever seen in a hotel. I quickly stepped in the shot and said, "Not on my watch!".

Delicious Dimsum choices, including BBQ Pork and Pork Belly
This was the first time I had Spectrum's Pigs in a Blanket,
and they were amazing!
Another dish you must not miss out, is the Carbonara Pizza!!
Spectrum is a world class buffet, but we ARE still in the Philippines..
In the Philippines, you GOTTA have Lechon. Or in this case.. Lechons.

The Candy Wonderland theme allowed the Pastry Chefs of Spectrum to let their imagination run wild.. and our tummies will forever be grateful!

But the fun extends farther than just the toys.. Kids may even decorate their own cupcakes to their liking!

This trip to Spectrum was a little bittersweet, because it served as a send off for the woman who to us, has been synonymous with Fairmont and Raffles, since we first heard of the hotel.. the lovely Loni!
Nonetheless, we decided to treat it as a happy time, as we all wished her and her husband JP well in their next adventure together!
